My dog Tommy was very submissive. It was a female dog which was courageous. Though she was not huge she never faered other dogs however big. I reared her when I was eleven years old. She died whe I was already twenty.

Tommy had learned what I wanted and would do everytihing to please. I remember I reared rabbits and she would always run away whenever a rabbit would go towards its direction. One time I was away from home on a school holiday, and when I came back, my cousins told me how Tommy used to chase rabbits whenever they were outside. They only were safe by jumping into their hutch. But when I tested to see if Tommy could chase them, my cousins were suprised to see Tommy running away from them. That is when I realised that I was realy a master who could be respected.

Tommy was very agressive at night. She would guard our home against intruders. I woul always come out to encourage her to be more agressive.

*** Today's Humour

Sister Mary Katherine entered the monastery of silence.

The Priest said, "Sister, this is a silent monastery. You are
welcome here as long as you like, but you may not speak until
directed to do so. "

Sister Mary Katherine lived in the monastery for 5 years before
the Priest said to her,

"Sister Mary Katherine, you have been here for 5 years. You may
speak two words."

Sister Mary Katherine said, "Hard bed."

"I'm sorry to hear that," the Priest said,

"We will get you a better bed."

After another 5 years, Sister Mary Katherine was summoned by the
Priest.

"You may say another two words, Sister Mary Katherine."

"Cold food," said Sister Mary Katherine,

And the Priest assured her that the food would be better in the
future.

On her 15th anniversary at the monastery,
The Priest again called Sister Mary Katherine in to his office.

"You may say two words today."

"I quit," said Sister Mary Katherine.

"It's probably best," said the Priest,

"You've done nothing but bitch since you got here."

ZIMB

Well, Zimbabwe went to the polls yet again today to vote for their, er, "candidate of choice", in the Presidential run off.

The competition was fierce, Mugabe was quietly confident and expressed hope for a clear majority. The voters rushed to the polling stations, (mostly with men in uniform carrying guns chasing them, which meant rushing was definitely in order), and those that tried their best NOT to go to the polls were persuaded otherwise with rather large rungus and machetes!

So there we have it, Mugabe's idea of a smooth run off, in which he is the ONLY candidate and chances are rather high (apparently), that he shall be declared the outright winner before the weekend is over ..........

AND THAT PEOPLE, IS WHAT IS KNOWN AS "DEMOCRACY" IN ZIMBABWE.
